UCAS Higher Education Convention
14 March 2012 - 15 March 2012
Status: Free Event
This is the largest HE Convention to take place in Northern Ireland and is organised in conjunction with The Department of Employment and Learning in Northern Ireland and in association with HELOA. It is expected that over 130 Higher Education institutions and professional organisations will be represented at the event and 8,000 students will visit the convention.
UCAS conventions are held every year throughout the UK. The conventions bring together universities and colleges within the UCAS scheme to inform and guide prospective university and college students. The events play a vital part in helping applicants decide about what and where to study within higher education. Prospectuses are available from most of the stands at the conventions.
The major conventions are organised by UCAS Media in conjunction with universities, Connexions, Careers Services and the Higher Education Liaison Officers Association (HELOA).
This event is mainly geared towards 16 and 17-year-old students although anyone with an interest in studying within higher education would find the event useful.
Exhibitors include further education colleges, DELNI, GAP Year organisations, student support services, professional bodies, student travel firms, student finance and lots more, depending on the event.
Tickets are not necessary for UCAS higher education conventions. The events are free of charge to attend. School and college group bookings are usually made online at www.ucasevents.com/conventions. You are also welcome to visit the convention as individuals on the day without any prior booking.
Opening times:
14 March 10:00 - 15:00
15 March 09:30 - 13:30

Hello, Will there be exhibitors from England at this UCAS event? I was looking at universities in Newcastle and such and I'm just wondering if these kinds of universities will be exhibiting. Maryrose
