Belfast Dog Show Society was founded in 1880, this makes it one of the oldest societies of its kind in the UK & IRELAND.
This year The Society are proud to announce their new sponsor:
Each year the Society runs 2 shows. The 2nd show of the year is BELFAST DOG SHOW SOCIETY'S ALL BREED CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW, which runs over 2 days (Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th September), this is the only all breed championship show in N. Ireland and it attracts exhibitors from UK, Ireland & Europe.
Each year the championship show attracts around 2500 dogs and over 100 different breeds. All members of the public are welcome and there will also be some fun activities for children. There is lots to do both inside and outside. Why not take some time and watch the exhibition and judging taking place at the Show. Watch the dogs go through their paces in the Obedience rings and going through the jumps and obstacles in the Agility Ring. There will be trade stalls selling everything from dog food, beds and bedding, leads, sweets, ornaments, books and clothing for both you and your dog.
