UCAS and the Careers Service are holding the Northern Ireland Higher Education Convention 2010.  This event will provide you with an excellent opportunity to find out more about Higher Education, to consider all of the factors involved in choosing a course and to plan your future careers path.

This is the eighth year that the event has been held at the Kings Hall Complex.  UCAS hope that it will be as successful as the seven previous years in helping students decide on Higher Education options and on their broader career plans.

It is easy to turn up at an event like this and simply rush around gathering papers from each of the exhibitors.  UCAS would encourage you to put more thought into your approach and plan how to get the most from this event by:

• Discussing your options with parents, teachers and your Careers Adviser

• Preparing important questions to get clear information and advice from the exhibitors

• Developing an action plan to consider the most appropriate stands and attend the most appropriate   seminars

• Visiting the Careers Service stand for impartial information, advice and guidance.
