Judge announced for Winter Fair

The RUAS has announced Michael Heath as the judge for the 2009 Royal Ulster Winter Fair in association with Northern Bank.
Michael, a native of Maryland, USA, has worked with all breeds of cattle, merchandising and owning many All-Americans and nominations. He has owned many Champions such as the 1993 National Grand Champion Jersey; the 2005 World Dairy Expo Reserve Intermediate Champion Holstein and the 2006 & 2007 World Dairy Expo Junior Champion Holstein.
He has also exhibited and sold numerous Jersey and Holstein winners at World Dairy Expo, the All-American and the National Jersey Show.
Heath has judged Jerseys and Holsteins at ten State Fairs, ten Holstein state and spring shows and four Jersey spring shows. He has also judged the 2007 International Junior Holstein Show; the All-American Jersey Show; the Western National Jersey Show and Canadian spring and autumn shows.
Michael is the owner/operator of Heath Sires, a company that promotes and distributes semen from an elite group of Jersey and Holstein sires.
The Prize Schedule for the 24th Winter Fair is now available for those wishing to enter their dairy cattle into this year's Winter Fair.
